Mavi Cafe

This morning I was starving and remembered a recommendation to this establishment. I went in and the atmosphere was lively as patrons sat and enjoyed their items and conversations. I looked around to take in the decor and read the menu written on the walls in chalk. Immediately I was impressed by the menu options and further intrigued by the brightly lighted glass display of various baked goods and muffins. The person behind the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I told her it was my first time and she greeted me happily. While I waited for my breakfast sandwich to be prepared, struck up a conversation with a patron that was getting coffee, he said as a first timer I definitely needed to try the oatmeal raisin cookies and ended up adding one on his tab so that I knew he was serious! Absolutely one of the best, if not the best cookie I’ve had in a very long time! Super soft, sweet and a joyous cheat snack. The breakfast sandwich had everything on it, ham, sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and light mayo. Oh I can’t forget the hash brown on it as well. It was filling but not over doing it, definitely 10/10!!!! My iced tea was very good as well. I look forward to my next visit at this great little gem with top notch service and food.

Our 1st time @Mavis cafe. We were welcomed upon entry and the place was warm and inviting. The varitey of selection of bakery goods were all pleasing to the eye. The staff were informative and helpful to my needs. The breakfast sandwich the Barnyard was a bargain. The amount of deliciousness was fulfilling. When we are in the area we will be back. Enjoy!

Delicious sandwiches cooked to order. Muffins are baked on the premises and are the best I have ever had. Business is family owned and operated. Staff is very friendly. Definitely worth many visits.

Aunties Cafe is located in the Huntington Center in Shelton, Connecticut. This is a great local family owned business that has been around for years! I live in Ireland so this was a real treat to visit and sample some of the food as I know a family member! We got 2 boxes of their freshly made Muffins to try them! The Muffins are amazing! They are so soft and flavoursome! I highly recommend geting the blueberry muffin, also try toasting the Cornbread muffin and adding some butter! They also have great coffee and breakfast sandwiches too!

If you are in Huntington Center it's the place to go for coffee,breakfast,lunch or whatever. If you're not in HC it's worth a side trip. That serve the very best baked muffins in the state. Try the cherry almond. Great breakfast sandwiches too. Family owned,staffed and they treat you like family.

Reasonably priced, friendly multilingual staff, and The Barnyard sandwich was amazing. C'était délicieux!

Delicious coffee and food! My boyfriend loved the chorizo egg and cheese. Fair pricing and really nice staff :)
